Big News In The Heavens This Week! Tarot and Astrology Reading for the Week of May 16, 2015 With Sacred Bridges Tarot
Hi I’m Maggie Lukowski from Maggie Moon Tarot and here are the vibes for the week! Ahh a New Moon in Taurus on May, 17th for Pacific and GMT and the official date is May 18th. A productive time and one where our New Moon intentions can stick. Since it’s in Taurus it’s about what we most value. And Venus is the ruling planet for Taurus so its about, seeing the beauty in everything and nurturing ourselves. It’s Mercury Retrograde time right after the New Moon until June 10th and it’s in Gemini. There can be glitches around our social interactions, business, friends, family and lovers so it’s important to remain flexible and rethink and revaluate. It’s a time to revisit our interactions around our relationships and and become clear on what we value. If there are contracts we are entering into, be alert, check in with our body and intuition and go over the fine print. Like the saying goes in the carpentry business, “Measure twice, cut once.” The Sun is moving from Taurus into Gemini on Thursday, which adds to the excitement and fun. So Happy Birthday to all those born under this sign! Then the Sun is in opposition to Saturn on Friday, May 22nd for the next two days. The Gemini Sun wants to move fast but Saturn says, slow it down, no short cuts. Patience is important. So, we might remember the quote from the Television Series Lost in Space and see the flashing sign, “Danger, danger Will Robinson” which will remind us take it slow on Friday and Saturday.
This week I’m reading with with amazing and otherworldly Sacred Bridges Tarot by Rachel Paul who also published the Dark Carnival Tarot – her deck is available on Etsy – etsy.com/shop/darkcarnivaltarot. I was able to meet Rachel who is so full of life, and I was so taken by her message for this deck and her art. Her story of the Sacred Bridges, we are all golden children of the divine, each unique with our soul’s plan and as a human family bridge our way back to the Earth, to the Goddess energies that sustains each other. When I look at a new deck I find the Star Card, which is one of my Tarot Birth Cards. It is particularly brilliant in this deck. The Star is key card 17 which is an 8 in Numerology, our World Year for 2015 and the Sun and New Moon will be at 26 degrees at Taurus which adds to and 8! So I would like to start with the Star’s inspiration for the beginning of the week. With everything going on in our World, I find hope this week in the image along with Rachel’s message “When you have fallen down, in the dark of night, remember to look up. The bridge of light, in the darkest hour, like the North Star will lead you home. Look up!” So with our New Moon in Taurus on Sunday, look up to the stars and make our wishes and intentions!
The energy Midweek, comes from The Journey of the Wheels Suit, Ten of Wheels, or Discs, the element of Earth. Tens are endings, celebrating before we begin again. In this card everyone is reaching their arms out together, strong and in unity like spokes on a wheel. It reminds us there is strength in numbers. We have a feeling of things coming together midweek, a blessing, a gift, a feeling of abundance, while also celebrating each other’s joys and accomplishments. There is no competition, we are reaching out together supporting each other. Rachel’s message is: “We are all family, bound together by one Love.
At the end of the week, the Hanged Girl, traditionally the Hanged man came out. In the card she appears relaxed arms outstretched ready to receive, a sun sign is drawn on her third eye. She may be vulnerable in this position, but her heart is open. There is a Sun burst behind her, across the beautiful pink and violet sky. Each ray from the Sun has it’s own message written on it, freely love now, know it radiates, gratitude, hang in there and many more. This is a stopping point on our journey especially during Mercury Retrograde. Sometimes we are uneasy when we hear Mercury is Retrograde is afoot, but some of the bumps in the road can actually be gifts if we are still long enough to see how things are actually unfolding and finding a new perspective. Often we are called on to hang in there and wait, enjoy the now, before moving ahead.
So this week we are all looking up at the same the Stars, sending out our wishes and intentions out to the Universe, Midweek we receive the abundance and blessings of a journey well done with the 10 of Wheels and end with the Hanged Girl with Rachel’s message “That even in the most vulnerable state, there is Enlightenment.”
So until we meet again next week, Laugh often, Love much, Create your own happiness, Believe in miracles, Be kind and Support each other.
