“No one who cooks, cooks alone. Even at her most solitary, a cook in the kitchen is surrounded by generations of cooks past, the advice and menus of cooks present, the wisdom of cookbook writers.” – Laurie Colwin
And to start the weekend, The Moon is in Sagittarius. I just love this energy as it’s fun, social and with our Cancer Sun, a lovely get together or barbecue with friends may be perfect and you just never know what wonderful opportunities may pop up. On Saturday we have the Mercury/Venus conjunction. A lovely energy and Venus can help us take our message out with love. On the same day the Sun squares Uranus and trines Mars. This energy is a can be a bit intense so expect the unexpected. That might be one we put in the Universal Manager’s column to sort out.
At the end of the week, The Stove, traditionally the Empress, key card 3 comes out from the Kitchen Tarot. Some of the key words when we think about this card are: creativity, abundance, fertility, being comfortable with our sexuality, mothering, matriarch or mother issues. And as the companion book states, “It’s time to start cooking on all four burners.” The stove and oven in the kitchen turn up the heat. Our bodies need good food and nutrition to fuel our ideas and keep our energy high; and we also need food for the soul to keep it nurtured and in balance. The oven in this card is called creation. We are in the waxing moon time so this is a week to create and fill up the Lazy Susan with our masterpieces from the beginning of the week, and give a test run to those recipes from our Cookbook of Life that came out mid-week and the stove will work its magic. You can listen and watch the video on my Youtube Channel at Maggiemoontarot https://youtu.be/GxQCvoOLZ1Q
The affirmation for this card is “My creativity is abundant and my potential is unlimited.
