Hello May! Finding the sacred in the ordinary….”Today a new sun rises for me…

”Today a new sun rises for me; everything lives, everything is animated, everything seems to speak to me of my passion, everything invites me to cherish it. – Anne de Lenclos

White Rabbits, White Rabbits, White Rabbits, may this month bring good luck to you! Hello May!   It’s that time again!   The first day of a new month, say aloud “Rabbits” or “White Rabbits” three times when you first wake up or to the first person you speak to and it will bring both of you good luck for the month!! – British Folklore

May is a 8 Universal Month in Numerology for 2019; the Strength card in Tarot.  The top of the 8 reaches to the heavens as the bottom touches the earth.  As above so below.  She speaks of strength, that wild passion in each one of us that is grounded and manifested in our World.  Blending the fierce energy of caring and protection with the kindness from the heart.  She is the feminine magician with the lemniscate over her head.  The month of May will bring us magic and abundance if we are willing to look in the everydayness of life as we go about our daily rounds.

The book I love for this month is “Wild Mercy” by Mirabai Starr “Contemplative life flows in a circular pattern: awe provokes introspection, which invokes awe.  Maybe you’re making dinner and you step outside to snip chives from the kitchen garden just as the harvest moon is rising over the eastern slopes…  This is not the first time you have disappeared into something beautiful…  Which is why seemingly ordinary moments like moonrises and lovemaking undo you.   The veil has been pulled back.   Everything feels inexhaustibly holy.”

May this month bring the sacred into the ordinary and bless you!
