For the reading this week I am using the ethereal Ghosts and Spirits Tarot by Lisa Hunt. As a child I was fascinated, as I am sure many of you were, with Spirits, Ghosts and all things Paranormal, the messages they would bring and a little mischief too! I was so excited when I saw Lisa’s deck and knew it could be a guide to seeing into the unknown and working through challenges and obstacles! The Ghosts and Spirits Tarot reads beautifully and brings back the wonder and magic that we felt so long ago. Let’s take a peak into the Spirit world and get started!

Hi I’m Maggie Lukowski from Maggie Moon Tarot, and here are the vibes for the Week. The Sun has moved into Pisces and we have just come off the New Moon in Aquarius so the wheel has turned and the energies are moving. We will see in the early part of the week Venus and Mars in Aries and a trine to Saturn which is in Sagittarius. This meetup strengths us in all areas and sets us up for success. Then on Wednesday, the Pisces Sun and Neptune dance. It can be a double edge sword so you might have to dig deep and take a second look if there are decisions to be made before we roll the dice. I was looking at Ciro Marchetti’s stunning Lenormand Cards which can represent this energy. Seeing the clearing in the Clouds before we roll the Dice and take spin on the Carousel represent by the Rider!
Let’s take a peak into the Spirt world and get started! At the beginning of the week the Page of Pentacles comes up. He is represented by Jack Frost etching intricate snowflakes on the window panes. Inside is a fern growing soaking in the sunlight. Pages are often messengers and can also speak of new endeavors, learning something new to enhance our talents or completely venturing on a new course of action. His etchings show the uniqueness in each snowflake. We may doubt what we have to bring to the table on a project, job, or writing a book and others seem to be doing it so well. Often we forget how precious and unique we are, our talents, what we have to say and how we can share and express that in the world. This Page is reminding us to be ourselves. With the element of Earth and Pentacles, it’s about new growth and exploration in these areas. Ferns are considered a magical plant that can hold enchantment, provide protection and give confidence. Just the messages and qualities we need to start something new! The green color of the fern vibrates healing, growth, and is associated with the heart chakra, one of love.
The Midweek energy is represented by, the Ace of Swords. An interesting take on this Ace, a Poltergeist, or “noisy ghost” as Lisa mentions in the companion book moving around objects, causing a bit of chaos. As the suit of Swords represents thinking, and Aces are beginnings, we may feel a bit of intense activity beginning to come though our thoughts midweek and we don’t want to manifest this in our life. It may be times at night before going to sleep or early in the morning before we get up that anything and everything come floating in. We are not our thoughts so we don’t want to let our emotions get caught up in this. We can say, “Ok, that is interesting” and then focus on the positive message that the Page of Pentacles brought us at the beginning of the week. Taking our sword or magic wand and sweeping the jumble away then feeling gratitude, joyfully looking at what our intentions are for the day and thanking our guides for always being with us.
At the end of the week, the Nine of Cups comes out. It’s often thought of the Wish card in Tarot. In the card a Spirit is carrying a boy on his back and they travel with the North Wind on adventures. We too can fly above any situation or challenge changing our landscape whenever we feel stuck or triggered. We feel light as a feather, soaring with joy. And in dreamtime we can journey with Spirit to visit places and people that are close to our heart and go on adventures, maybe astrotravel. And no worries we always come back to the place we desire and feel beautifully changed. So when you feel or hear the wind blowing, excitement is afoot, remember you too can soar and make your dreams come true.
