Hi, I’m Maggie Lukowski from Maggie Moon Tarot and here are the vibes for the week!
Happy Full Moon in Pisces and a Super Moon at that! Yes Saturday, August 29th the dreamy Pisces Moon rises and shines bright in the sky. The 29th in Numerology, reduces to the Master Number of 11, one that is an inspiration to us all and a day when portals are open to us. The 2 and the 9 before we add them together, are significant also. The 2 is about our emotions, love, deep feelings, sensitivity and the 9 contains the vibrations of all the other numbers and is the Old Soul. So this moon has some special for us. On Full Moons, we not only celebrate what we have accomplished but also bring things to completion. Then for the next two weeks we start releasing or closing the book on anything, that needs to be put to bed. During the the dreamy Pisces Full Moon, there are two favorable events, the Sun in Virgo makes a conjunction to Lucky Jupiter and the Pisces Full Moon meets Neptune. A combination that can make our dreams and wishes come true so that is exciting in and of itself. With the Pisces Moon we can feel sensitive and that little Devil of additions can pop, but as long as we are aware, we can have it covered and feel the love and creativity of this powerful Moon. We have a crowd in the celestial heavens this week so we will have a mixed bag of characters. Monday, the 31st, the last day of the month, the Virgo Sun has it’s yearly date actually opposition to Neptune. So for the next few days things might seem to be as they truly are. A kind of Alice and Wonderland effect. The advice here is to stay grounded and stick to the facts. Magical thinking may not work during this time. And on Tuesday, the 1st day of the month of September, we have a Venus/Mars connection with Leo. Remember Venus is still in her retrograde and she wants what she wants If Venus is not feeling it, there can be a bit of drama. If it pertains to someone else, as the cartoon character Snagglepuss would say “Exit stage left”. If we are the ones feeling that Venus energy, where we are a bit neglected, take ourselves out and luxuriate in something special because we want to start the first day of the month on a positive note. I am hooked on tea and I found Teavana teas which come in delicious varieties and there little tins, to fit my mood. They even have yummy dessert teas. And we start a new month on Tuesday. An old British fokelore on the first day of the month when you first wake up, and repeat the words aloud “Rabbit, Rabbit” “Rabbits Rabbits” or “White Rabbit” and that portends good luck for the month.
This week I’m reading with with amazing and colorful Sacred Bridges Tarot by Rachel Paul who also published the Dark Carnival Tarot. Sacred Bridges Tarot by Rachel Paul etsy.com/shop/darkcarnivaltarot I was able to meet Rachel who is so full of life, and I was so taken by her message for this deck and her art. Her story of the Sacred Bridges, we are all golden children of the divine, each unique with our soul’s plan and as a human family bridge our way back to the Earth, to the Goddess energies that sustains each other.
For the Beginning of the Week, The Shaman of Waters comes us. Water is dreamy, deals with emotions and relationships of all types, especially love just like our Pisces Moon. The Shaman in Rachel’s deck translates to the Queen and she describes this person as a seer, intuitive and cultivator of Love. She embraces the bowl filled with water and appears to be scrying and can see and feel things through the depths, and is receptive and open to receive the answers. She asks us to look deep into our own emotions and with our Seer’s eye and find places where we can cultivate love through uniting forces, compassion and see beyond the appearances. It’s about finding that bridge to bring people together, celebrating diversity, honoring the god/goddess in each one of us.
Midweek, Yemaya makes her grand appearance, traditionally the High Priestess, key card 2, Goddess of the Sea, she is holding the treasures and mysteries of the Universe in her container. You can see a small boat sailing on the horizon. She is often associated to Mother Mary who is often referred to as the Star of the Sea and is celebrated on her feast day of Stella Maris on September 27th. She is an Afrian-Brazilian Goddess who it has been said created the sea and is protective of her waters She reminds the tides of the ocean moves in waves and so do our lives. Often we find that the answers seem to elude us but it will be revealed at the right time. She invites us to be the seeker to find the treasures that care inside us, we have the eyes to see. In Brazil on December 31st, the people come to the sea to cast flowers and miniature boats with their wishes for Yemaya to bless and grant. I am seeing that an answer will reveal itself to us this week.
At the end of the week, The Warrior Woman, key card 7, traditionally the Chariot card. A strong woman, a peaceful warrior inside all of us, bridging new connections. In Numerology, 7 is a magical and spiritual number. Astrologically, this card corresponds to the sign of Cancer, a water sign, ruled by the Moon, and she can take her home with her on her Chariot! She does not play the victim or helpless, she is a spiritual warrior steering her chariot, making new paths if none exist, moving forward, confident in her vision. She is on a remarkable journey not hesitating or second judging her decisions. This cards often suggest we are embarking on an adventure or moving forward where we might have been stuck previously. We may have found an answer from the Yemaya, the High Priestess! Even when life is challenging, we feel that peaceful warrior inside of each one of us, up for the challenge. So ride across the bridge of courage and don’t look back!
