“Be an opener of doors” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

Today on 9, 9 in the Universal Year of 9, the triple 9, also when Jupiter switches signs from Virgo to balanced Libra the sign of partnerships and contracts! Jupiter will be in Libra for 13 months. Jupiter brings good fortune and blessings to not only those born under the Libra Sun, Rising Sign, and Moon sign along with the other Air signs, Aquarius and Gemini. I’ll take some of that good fortune, but a little of his goodness and good luck rubs off on all of us! And on the same day we have the triple 9, 9 day, 9 month and 9 year. In Numerology, he 9 carries the strongest vibration as it encompasses the vibrations of all the other numbers. There is a beautiful light that turns on this day and can transform us and lift us up. It heralds the closing of one door and an opening of another. It opens our heart up to feel compassion for every living soul. Today is an opening to a new cycle.

Speaking about Will, in Palmistry, the first phalange of our thumb is referred to as our Will, the second is Logic or Reason. When both are equal in length or with the first phalange, Will, a tad shorter they are considered to be in good proportion we have a good balance between Will and Reason. When the first phalange, Will is much longer than our 2nd, we can be more impulsive so our Logic friends can assist us. Or if the second, Reason or Logic is much longer than the first, then we might be great planners but aren’t particularly great at follow through and can use the assistance of those friends that have a strong Will to keep us going.

“I want to be magic. I want to touch the heart of the world and make it smile. I want to be a friend of elves and live in a tree. Or under a hill. I want to marry a moonbeam and hear the stars sing. I don’t want to pretend at magic anymore. I want to be magic.” – Charles de Lint

At the end of the week the Magician comes out under a zodiac wheel in the night sky with a monkey turned facing us and a fire burning. (From the Sun and Moon Tarot by Vanessa Decort published by U.S all right reserved –https://www.usgamesinc.com/Sun-and-Moon-Tarot/ ) As we proceed through the week inspired by the King of Cups and the Queen of Swords reminding us to know our truth, this Magician is ready to take the next step. He is associated with Mercury, the messenger, and although Mercury is in his Retrograde, there is much planning that can be done. We can light our fire of intentions and keep the flames burning. The Magician also reminds us of our will, we have everything we need to create our own special magic.

And Our monkey in this card is a trickster, a playful one, curious and smart – all about fun! I was talking with my friend Nita this week and she used the phrase “cheeky monkey” meaning maybe a little naughty but in a fun way! So we too can be that cheeky monkey until Mercury goes direct and have fun during this time no matter what is going on around us.

The Hebrew symbol below the Monkey is Beit, meaning house or blessing, a good omen for our week and adds to Jupiter in Libra’s goodness and good fortune.
