I received the brilliant Gilded Reverie Lenormand by Ciro Marchetti, http://www.ciromarchetti.com/Lenormand.html for Christmas this year. A dreamy colorful deck!
I wanted to see what the weekend had in store for me. I shuffled and pulled three cards: Time, Clover, and the Ring. Traditionally, in a Lenornand deck, there are 36 cards. Often deck creators may add a few extra cards and in Ciro’s deck, he added a few. How great is this; my first card pulled, Time, is one of the extras!
For a three card spread I look at the card in the middle first. In my example it is the Clover. Ahh the Clover, a card of good luck and happy times. A good omen for the weekend!
I look at the card to the left of the Clover, Time, and read those together. Time, using it wisely, living in the present, and denoting times of the day. I might plan for relaxation and entertainment in the mornings and evenings with my husband while getting some work done mid-day.
I look at the card to the right of the Clover, the Ring, and read those together. The Ring talks about commitments, marriage, and contracts. My husband and I have the holiday decorations to pack up along with some business matters to review. Hopefully we will have luck with that!
Lastly, I look at the first and third cards: Time and the Ring. I can interpret this as it is important for us both to decide what other fun activities we will fit in during . Well as they say, time will tell how this weekend turns out!
Wishing you a lovely weekend,
Maggie
Those cards look lovely 🙂 I use the Vikings Tarot myself. I wouldn’t know how to read those.
Love Lenny
Thank you Linda! I have not seen the Vikings Tarot. Will have to check those out. My primary deck is the Gaian Tarot. But I love to trade off with readings.
