I shuffled the deck and pulled three cards for our weekly message. All three were the “extra” cards in the deck. I was going to reshuffle to see if a few traditional cards came up but decided this is what wanted to come through.
Our cards and message: 37 Time, 40 Compass, 39 Dice.
Decisions time, chart your own course, take a chance! Where are we going with the time we have available to us with a playful nature as our new season is here. This line of three takes me back to dreamy summer days and nights when I was young, spending time playing board games. Which direction will I go with the roll of the dice was always exciting. I felt I had all the time in the world to dream and play. As time has passed, I’m more tuned into the directions and choices I make. I take comfort in knowing I can always course correct and sometimes roll the dice to take chances along the way.
As Time is always a factor in life; it’s what we do with it that counts especially in our new season. We all have the same 24 hours. The first thing we want to consider is where we are going. The Compass helps find our bearings especially in a new season. Throwing the dice is a game and can indicate taking a playful approach. Some approaches are more risky but life can be a crap shoot too, yes? What risks are we willing to take this week?

This week I’m reading with the sTEAmpunk Tea Leaf Fortune Telling Cards by Karin Dalton-Smith published by Animal Dreaming Publishing. I shuffled and randomly pulled four cards, Heart, Castle and Eye for our message this week with one additional shadow card from the bottom of the deck, the Book.
The Heart and Castle are auspicious cards when they come together which speak to us of success around passions especially in our work or careers that we love. In relationships, whether they are with lovers, friends or people in our work sphere, the Heart and Castle show the potential of a successful relationship. The Arrow on the Heart is not pointed to a specific card, so look to the past for lessons that can be helpful in this present relationship. Venus is in Retrograde until June 24th so this is a time to step back and look at what we truly value, are passionate about and be in tune with how we communicate, asking for what we need and really listening to others. This helps us understand relationships much better. In finance, pay attention to not only our short-term goals but long-term ones also. Don’t let emotions alone rule your decisions. The Eye whispers to us to pay attention to our intuition this week in all matters of life. This is a card of protection. Take time to see beyond appearances.
The Shadow card is the Book,. The planet Mercury is in its shadow period beginning its Retrograde in Cancer on June 17th. The Book brings us more information throughout the week to add to our decisions, direction and something more to consider. There may be additional studying or curiosity needed for our passion project or in relationships. Open and compassionate communication can open up hearts. For finances, looking at our assets, which is just not money but other assets, our talents, skills, background and the ability to tap into the collective unconscious which can aid us pursuing our dreams. Contracts and agreements need to be carefully looked over and protected this week and the weeks to come.
It’s my Mother’s Birthday on June 18th and in remembrance, her Fan broach with little twinkling sapphires and pearls is pinned to my reading cloth. Sapphire is a stone of wisdom and prophecy bringing good fortune and protection for those wearing it. Pearls signify sincerity, good luck and wisdom gained through experience; inspires integrity and purity. Our Fan’s message is be curious and flirt with the things that call to us this week. And most of all, don’t hid behind the shadows, be Seen.

With Aces being early days, this Ace was first seen on the table of the Magician. The Ace of Pentacles holds seeds of possibilities, a gift for us this week and asks us what we will do with this gift. Last week’s Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse was an invitation to step over the threshold. In this card we see an arched gateway with a red door wide open. I pulled a piece from my found object pouch; the broken shell came out. This week begins a healing in broken places. The Winged Spirits and Angels’ promise is to hold us up, while we hold each other up as healing takes place.

Today we experience a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius, one of the first of 3 eclipses! There is a
Solar Eclipse on June 21st and Lunar Eclipse July 4th.
Eclipses reveal new opportunities to do things differently. Full moons illuminate so we can see how things really are and with eclipses, endings and releasing.
The card I pulled for us is “Clean It Up” with the Bee Witches Rune. It’s time to do the hard work of cleaning up the areas of our life that have been cluttered to free our mind, body, physical areas and spirit. This frees us to move forward. The Bee as our Ally with this card encourages us not only to being willing to do the hard work but working as a team, community with cooperation. We are not in this alone. This will clear the way for miracles to enter.
With the events around the World and here in the US, we can’t go back to the way things were. Sagittarius gives us hope, examining our beliefs, what are our values. Eclipses give us opportunities to shift, open the door or a window on life, the past and the future a little wider to really see. They also are good times to release patterns we no longer desire or serving us in our internal and external World.
